Character Creation Rules

Avatar Restrictions

In TFR, we aim to immerse players in a rich, fantasy world that draws inspiration from a wide range of mythical and magical sources. To maintain the atmosphere and integrity of our setting, we have specific guidelines for avatars.

  • TFR does not allow furry avatars. We welcome avatars that represent beastkin characters - beings that blend humanoid forms with elements of mythical or real animals. Avatars should closely resemble realistic beastkin, embodying characteristics of both humans and animals in a way that aligns with traditional fantasy or mythological aesthetics.

Beastkin avatars should have a detailed, realistic appearance, reflecting the natural textures and forms of the animals they represent. This includes fur, scales, feathers, etc., that mimic real-world animals or fantasy interpretations thereof.

Avatars must maintain a balance between humanoid and animal features, keeping in mind the lore and environment of TFR.

Avatars that resemble contemporary furry fandom interpretations, characterized by exaggerated, cartoon-like, or stylized features, are not permitted. This includes overly vibrant colors, anthropomorphic shapes not fitting TFR lore, and avatars resembling modern fursuits.

The distinction between allowed and restricted avatars lies in their realism and adherence to TFR's thematic and aesthetic guidelines. Avatars should not distract from the immersive experience with out-of-context or overly stylized appearances.

  • No child avatars. If your avatar appears overly young, Staff will reach out and ask you to update your avatar.

  • No anime avatars. All <Utilizator> products and PsiCorp products are banned from being used on sim.

  • No canon characters. We are not a fanfic RP Sim. This means no characters from books, movies, tv shows etc.

  • No gods/demi-gods, or generally overpowered characters- lets keep it fair & fun!

  • No modern weapons. Flintlock pistols are ok.

  • All clothing must fit the medieval high fantasy theme.

  • No macro avatars. If you're unsure about the size of your avatar, ask a staff member. If we suspect your avatar might be too large, we will reach out.

If you're uncertain whether your avatar meets these guidelines, please reach out to a staff member for pre-approval before participating in roleplay.

Our team is here to assist you in adjusting your avatar if necessary to ensure it fits within TFR's lore and aesthetics.

We encourage creativity and expression within these guidelines and look forward to seeing the diverse characters you bring to our community!
